Internships are available at Music Labels (focusing on Marketing) or at Recording Studios (offering Music Production experience). The list below only contains Recording Studios

There are a lot of options and choices when looking at a possible company for an internship - do you want to work at an agency, or at a design team for a bigger company or perhaps a startup? To help you navigate your option we made a list of companies we know ourselves, via our interns or by reputation. Make sure to talk to your mentor about the companies you find interesting so we can give you some context about them and be sure to contact them on time! (for a February internship this usually means November at the least, for a a September internship it’s better to start even earlier (pre-holiday). This list doesn’t have specific interships so it’s up to you to find out if they’re actually looking for interns.

Some notes:

• If the company doesn’t have a check in the Approved column that doesn’t mean it’s not approved, it means it’s not on the list yet. This means that there has to be a check by CMD on the quality of the company but we’re pretty sure these are going to be ok.
• Internship experience means we have experience with this company with a CMD student
• This is a limited selection based on past students and companies we know so please let us know if there are other companies that should be on this list.
